where are my notebooks stored?

On iPad, in the Files app under On My iPad › Notapus, as .notapus packages. On Mac, inside Notapus’s own folder. They never leave your device unless you share or export them.

how do I back up my notes?

iCloud Backup includes them. You can also export any notebook as a PDF (More › Export as PDF), or copy the .notapus files somewhere safe from the Files app.

what’s free, and what’s in pro?

Free: up to 3 notebooks with every pen, PDF and web page markup, search inside a notebook, and export. Pro adds unlimited notebooks, lecture recording with tap-to-replay, and search across your whole library.

how do I restore a purchase?

Open Settings › Notapus Pro in the app and choose Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account.

how do I cancel my subscription?

In your Apple Account settings: on iPad, Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and your notebooks are never locked: you can always open and export them.

does pro work on both iPad and Mac?

Yes. Buy once with your Apple Account and Pro unlocks on both.

keyboard shortcuts?

Hold ⌘ on an iPad keyboard, or look in the Mac menu bar: ⌘N new notebook, ⌘F search, ⌘1–⌘6 tools, ⌥⌘N add a page, ⌘Z undo.
